Volunteer Opportunities
The time you give back to UI is a gift of immeasurable value. There are many opportunities to volunteer that fit your interests and time commitment. You can volunteer your leadership skills, help plan an event, assist in recruiting, and much more. Ambassador Program - UI alumni and friends who will help identify and recruit prospective students to the university. Below are some brief descriptions of what being an ambassador would entail. You can choose individual tasks that might be of interest to you.

Volunteer opportunities:
- Identify prospective students in your area and provide names and addresses to New Student Services Office.
- Serve as a local contact for the Alumni Office and New Student Services.
- Facilitate distribution of student recruitment information to area high schools.
- Invite prospective students to alumni events in your area.
- Represent the UI at College Fairs, junior college transfer events and other college recruitment activities.
- Personal hosting of students identified by the University of Idaho.

Career Networking - An online service that provides an opportunity to mentor current UI students or find a job.

Reunions - The gathering of UI alumni and friends that share a common interest such as graduation year or activity.

Silver and Gold Events - An opportunity for alumni, friends and parents of current students to gather in an alumni chapter area to learn the latest news from the UI and meet the administration, faculty and staff.
